Calling all moms that don’t have any extra time to make homemade treats for school or daycare Christmas parties. You over-achieving moms with perfectly frosted cookies can just move along. Just kidding, I admire you and your delicious cookies. My specialty for daycare treats is taking something store-bought and putting a creative touch on it. And the treat topper I’m sharing today could not be any easier. These toppers are even classy looking enough to give to a friend, co-worker, or Secret Santa as a last minute gift.
Start with a bag of chocolate kisses. This time of year the Christmas candy aisle has bags of kisses mixed with green, red, and silver foil wrappers. Skip over those and look for just a classic bag with all silver foil kisses. I found the bag in the regular candy aisle and not with all the Christmas candy.
Download the free topper printable below and then cut them out with a scissors.
You will get four toppers from one sheet of paper.
Next place 9-10 kisses in a snack size Ziplock bag. At first I felt a little stingy only giving 9 kisses in a bag, but I did the math and that is the same size as a full Hershey’s bar, so that made me feel much better. By giving 9 kisses you would be able to create 8 treat bags from a 12 oz. bag of kisses.
Seal up the bag and then staple the topper to the bag.
And just like that you have a cute treat to hand out!
