I’m always keeping my eyes out for cute (and easy) Holiday gift ideas for my boys to share at daycare. I found this “Pumpkin Poop” idea on Raising Lemons and thought it would be so fun to try! And not all store bought Halloween candy is safe for toddlers, so handing out soft cheese balls sounded perfect to me. Instead of using cellaphane bags made specifically for gifts I decided to use snack-size ziplock bags. It worked great because they seal on their own and I was able to staple the topper right to the bag. I designed the Pumpkin Poop topper to be the same width as the ziplock bags, check out the free download below!
What you will need:
- Free Download “Pumpkin Poop” Printable
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Snack-Size Ziplock Bags
- Cheese Balls
Start by cutting out the Halloween gift bag toppers with a scissors. The printable has three tags on one sheet of paper.
Next fill the snack-size ziplock bags with cheese balls. I should mention that you definitely could use “sandwich” size ziplock bags if you would like to be more generous with the amount of cheese balls you want to give away. These toppers would work for both sizes.
Staple the topper to the bag on both ends.
This is what the back will look like. This would be a good area for you to write a note or who it is from.
Follow the same steps to create as many bags as you would like. Enjoy this tasty and crafty treat!
