I can’t believe November is already upon us! Here in Minnesota we still have some lingering nice fall days. Today I ran outside in cropped pants and a lightweight top. It very well could be the last run without a stocking cap or multiple layers, but I’m trying to take advantage of the nice weather while I can. During this time of year my workouts start taking a back burner to everything else going on, and usually that trend continues through the Holiday Season. I really don’t want to wait until my New Year’s resolution on January 1, 2017 to kick my workouts into high-gear, so I’m going to share my workout goals. I hope by sharing my goals it will keep me extra motivated, and maybe help spark some of your own ideas.
November Fitness Goals
- Workout 14 times in the month of November
- Squeeze in some sort of workout on Thanksgiving Day, even if it’s just a brisk walk
- Experiment with my schedule to find the best time of day to workout. Now that the weather is getting colder and days are getting shorter I don’t know if morning runs will last much longer. I want to try a lunchtime workout to see if that works any better.
- Drink more water! I am notoriously bad about drinking water. Sometimes I go right from morning coffee to an afternoon soda and at 6 pm realize I haven’t drank any water. I know, I know….bad! I’m going to try have a water bottle nearby as constant reminder to be taking sips.
