Nothing keeps me motivated like a visual reminder of how many days I’ve exercised (or haven’t exercised). Hanging a monthly workout tracker on my fridge is one of my best tools for staying regularly active. I just cross off or put a sticker on the days I squeezed a workout in. I’ve found that the months I don’t use the calendar I have a hard time remembering how many workouts I’ve actually done. My mommy-brain can barely remember what I ate for breakfast, much less how many days I got to the gym. Usually it isn’t until I’m sitting with a huge bowl of ice cream at night feeling a tad guilty that realize I haven’t actually exercised in over a week.
This calendar is also a great way to keep track of fitness center visits if you have health insurance that gives you money back for 8 or 12 visits a month. I have worked at the front desk of a fitness center and I constantly got asked, “can you check how many visits I have this month?”. Keeping track of your own visits each month not only saves you (and the front desk attendant) time when you are checking-in at the gym, but also ensures that you won’t run out of days in the month to get your insurance visits in.
Download the free printable below and don’t let August slip through your fingers with excuses for not working out. Pretty soon the cold fall air will be upon us, and we’ll be wishing for these hot days of summer.

Sweet! I was just wishing for an August calendar after July was done! I used July’s to make sure I hit my 12 workouts for the month 🙂
