Ingredients
  • 2pounds ground beef
  • 1pound Italian sausage
  • 2 (15 oz.)cans chili beans in mild saucedrained
  • 2 (15 oz.)cans chili beans in medium saucedrained
  • 2 (28 oz.)cans diced tomatoesundrained
  • 1 (6 oz.)can tomato paste
  • 1 yellow onionchopped
  • 2 green bell pepperschopped
  • 1 (7 oz.)can diced green chilies
  • 3tablespoons real bacon bits
  • 4cubes beef bouillon
  • 1/2cup beer
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 1tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2teaspoons Tabasco sauce
  • 1teaspoon dried basil
  • 1teaspoon paprika
  • 1teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teapsoon white sugar
  • 1bag corn chips(optional)
  • 1package shredded cheddar cheese(optional)
  • 1container sour cream(optional)
Instructions
  1. Brown the ground beef and sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain the excess grease. Add meat to a large slow cooker.
  2. Pour in the mild and medium chili beans, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste.
  3. Add the onion, green bell peppers, green chilies, bacon bits, bouillon, and beer.
  4. Add the seasonings: chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, basil, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, Tabasco sauce, and white sugar.
  5. Stir to blend everything together. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  6. Serve with sour cream, cheese and corn chips.
