I hate to say it but July is right around the corner. Summer…slow down! If you are anything like me you kicked the fitness into high gear through the spring in hopes of rocking a two-piece this summer and now that you’ve come to grips with wearing that black “slimming” one-piece you are slowly losing motivation to work out. I often find that during July and August the frequency of my workouts slow down and this trend continues into the fall and Holiday season. By the end of the year I’ve rotated my bigger sized jeans to the top of the pile, and then I start this whole cycle over in the spring. Imagine where I’d be if I stayed on my fitness game for an entire year!
I created a tracker to keep myself (and hopefully you) motivated. I’m a visual person so hanging this on the fridge is a quick reminder to squeeze in my workouts. Why are our kids the only ones that get to show off their work on the fridge? Print off this sheet (download below), hang it up, and cross off the days that you got a workout in. Or better yet, let your kids put a sticker on it for you. If your kids love stickers like mine they will soon be telling you, “go workout, Mommy” in hopes of pulling out the stickers. I’ll take whatever extra motivation I can get, even if it’s from a 2-year old!
