With the holiday craziness wrapped up and Christmas decorations packed away it can be easy to slip into a winter rut. Unless you have a tropical getaway planned, many people are already anxious for spring. Well, my goal today is to remind you that there are plenty of fun ways to make the most of the snow and winter. I once read this article about Norwegians enjoying long winters and it really resonated with me. It’s a great article, I’d recommend giving it a quick read. It is all about changing the way you look at winter to make it more enjoyable and not something that has to be “endured”. Sometimes I enjoy the slower pace of winter, where I can be in my sweats all day and not feel guilty for staying in the house. Or sometimes I bump my “spring cleaning” up a few months so that I’m not stuck in the house cleaning and organizing when it is spring and I want to be outside more.
I created a list of things I want to do this winter, I hope it sparks some ideas or excitement of your own.
