Welcome to another Five on Friday where I share cool things I find online, products that I recommend, and just general happenings. Because pumpkin latte season is back and there is something so magical about sipping a hot drink during the fall weather, today’s Five On Friday is all about coffee. I hope you enjoy! TGIF!

ONE
Favorite Coffee Mug
I received this Magnolia Ceramic Mug as a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law and it is awesome. I love the campfire style and that it is heavy-duty and high quality. I love having my morning coffee in a fun mug that makes me feel good. In fact, I usually leave this mug at work so that I can drink from it every morning and have been known to drag it home on the weekends too. So I guess this would qualify as my travel mug!
TWO
Favorite K-Cup
My husband and I have tried several different flavors of K-Cups and our favorite we have found is Starbuck’s Pike Place Roast. I should mention that we are not “coffee snobs” and I don’t have to have fancy or expensive coffee, but there is something about this rich flavor that makes paying a tad bit more than other brands worth it. We still like to experiment and buy different varieties depending on the season or the price, but I get a little more excited when we have Pike Place Roast to pop into the Keurig.
THREE
Favorite Funny
When you are raising two little boys there are times when coffee is just plain survival. I wish I could whisper into my college self’s ear to cherish the weekends of sleeping in past 11 am, because in my thirties I get excited if the boys don’t wake me before 7 am. Granted, there are definitely perks of getting my day started early, but that 6:30 am wake-up call sure is a lot easier with coffee.
FOUR
Favorite Coffee Accessory
If you want a fun little coffee accessory that is also really cheap (less than $10), I’d recommend purchasing a Handheld Electric Milk Frother. It just requires 2 AA batteries and then you put the wire end in your coffee, press the button and watch it froth. I’ve used it two ways, first frothing just the cream in the mug and then pouring coffee on top, I have aslo frothed a mug with both coffee and cream in it. I don’t think either way works better than the other, it is just personal preference. Obviously this $7 milk frother isn’t going to give you the same result as a professional coffee shop machine would, but I think it does a decent job at making my coffee more creamy and frothy.
FIVE
Favorite Canteen
I got this Corkcicle Canteen from my friend and it is really great. It keeps cold beverages cold and hot beverages hot for several hours. I like that I can screw the cap on and not worry about it leaking all over like other travel mugs or water bottles do. Sometimes if I make coffee at home to bring to work I’ll bring it in theis canteen, and other times I use it for water or a morning smoothie. It is a versatile drink container to add to your collection, plus all the colors to choose from are super cute!
That’s a wrap on another Five on Friday, thanks for checking it out!
I hope you have a safe and fun weekend!
